Hackney - a second look - Clapton Station, Upper Clapton Road, looking north

Clapton Station, Upper Clapton Road, looking north. The gabled house beside the station still exists, its lower storey obscured by a shop. The builder and undertaker has gone and some old shops occupy the site, forming the corner of Gunton Road which had then not been laid out. Date 1889 during April.
