Clark's Cottages, left and BIshop's Wood's Almhouses, right, on the east side of Clapton Pond, looking south, taken during a snowy winter. The large house and cottages have long given way to the entrance to Newick Road and a row of bay-windowed, semibasement houses extending north o Thistlewaite Road. Date 1884.
